
Americans Sign Trevor Ludwig

Allen, Texas - The Allen Americans, ECHL affiliate of the San Jose Sharks, announced today the club has signed Trevor Ludwig to a ceremonial one day contract so he can retire as a member of the Allen Americans tonight during a ceremony honoring the Ludwig family.
Trevor Ludwig, who played the majority of his professional career with the Americans and winning three championships in Allen, signed the one-day deal earlier today so he could officially retire as a member of the club where he had his greatest success. Ludwig had brief stops in both Missouri (Kansas City) and Orlando.
Trevor will join twin brother Tyler, and father Craig, for a special ceremony tonight during the Americans and Kansas City game. Trevor will officially sign his retirement papers this evening. The three Ludwigs will be a part of a special puck drop, as well as a video board recognition. They will be signing autographs during the first intermission and joining the Americans broadcast during the second break.
The Ludwig family has won a combined 17 hockey championships at the high school, college, junior and professional levels. Come be a part of the special evening tonight as we honor the First Family of Hockey in DFW.
