GAME NOTES PDF
Lincoln Stars (20-13-5) | 5th - Western Conference
After earning a point on Friday, Lincoln is one point shy of tying Des Moines for fourth in the Western Conference. The Stars' power play goal on Friday helped the unit move to 3/6 in its last three games. Saturday's special teams test will likely be on the penalty kill as the Stars are expected to have only five active defenseman due to injury and international competition.
Omaha Lancers (15-19-5) | 8th - Western Conference
The Lancers have won two of their last three games, but are still plagued by scoring the third-fewest goals per game and allowing the second-most goals per game in the USHL. Omaha has not scored more than three goals in a game since Dec. 31 and the team has allowed four or more goals in five of its last 10 games. The Lancers are the most penalized team in the league.
