Matchup:

The Solar Bears and Everblades match up tonight for the third time in three days, with the Solar Bears looking to complete a three-game sweep over their in-state rival, the Florida Everblades. Orlando has taken the first two games in the set by identical 2-1 scores, getting the game-winning goal on a shorthanded tally by team captain Eric Baier on Thursday at the Amway Center and following it up with a late third period goal from F Tyler Murovich last night in Estero. The Solar Bears opened up the scoring in the final seconds of the first period yesterday when forward C.J. Severyn won a faceoff to F Wade MacLeod and he one-timed a shot into the back of the net with 9.8 seconds left in the period. Florida tied the game early in the third when F Mathieu Roy slammed a cross-ice pass past G Garret Sparks to knot the game at 1-1. With 3:42 to play in regulation, F Tyler Murovich looked to feed a pass into the slot, but it bounced off the skates of a Florida defender and into the net to grant the Solar Bears the 2-1 win over Florida.
