TONIGHT:

The Ontario Reign (23-5-1-3), on a three-game winning streak, will host the San Francisco Bulls (12-17-3-1) who most recently lost to the Stockton Thunder after completing a five-game series against their Northern California rivals. This is the Reign's first home game in two weeks when they hosted the Thunder and fell 5-1. Since that loss, the Reign have won four of their five games with 16 goals-for and 11 goals-against in contests against the Alaska Aces and Las Vegas Wranglers.

HOW DO THEY RATE?

The Bulls are ranked third in the Pacific Division, sixth in the Western Conference, and 16th in the league. The Reign rank first in the division and conference and are second in the league trailing South Carolina who has amassed 51 points to the Reign's 50.

SO CLOSE, YET SO FAR:

Ontario has had to fight to reach the top with a number of very close games and comeback wins as they had Saturday night in Las Vegas when they came back from a 1-0 deficit in the final minutes to win 3-1. So far this season, the Reign are 12-1-1-3 in one-goal games. The Reign have only had one game against the Bulls end with just one goal separating the teams.

THEY JUST NEEDED A LITTLE MORE TIME...

Ontario has had a league record 11 games go to overtime this season; six of those games were decided in a shootout in which the Reign are 3-3 for a .500 success rate. The Reign are on their longest overtime-free stretch with their last seven games ending in regulation. Of those seven games, five have been decided by a two or more goal victory.

REIGN POURS ON BULLS IN OT:

In their 15 meetings to-date, the Reign have yet to lose to the Bulls in overtime. In four overtime frames, the Reign won in the extra five minutes only once, and were pushed to a shootout the other three times. All of the shootouts occurred in the 2012-13 season and the lone overtime final happened at Citizens Business Bank Arena on December 7, 2013.
