Matchup:

Orlando and Utah meet up this afternoon as they wrap up a three game series at the Amway Center. The Grizzlies took the first game in overtime but the Solar Bears countered with 6-5 victory on Friday night. Orlando jumped out to an early lead on first period goals from F Mickey Lang, D Cody Wild, and F Mike Ullrich as they took a 3-1 lead into the second frame. After F Tyler Murovich scored 1:02 into the second, the Grizzlies came storming back with three goals of their own, capped off by a shorthanded goal from F Danick Paquette with two seconds left in the period. Ullrich broke the tie on a rebound 5:22 into the third, and F Taylor Matson scored an empty netter with 17 seconds to go to give the Solar Bears a two goal cushion. Utah got back within one when F David Vallorani took the puck off the ensuing draw and fired a backhander in the net, but the Solar Bears held on for the 6-5 victory.

F Mickey Lang scored his league-leading 19th goal of the season on Friday... Orlando closes out a six-game home stand today... F Ian Slater served the first game of his four game suspension on Friday ... F Trevor Gillies served the first game of his five game suspension on Friday... G Christopher Gibson was recalled to the Toronto Marlies (AHL) on Saturday... Five different Solar Bears scored goals in Orlando's 6-5 win on Friday. They include F Mike Ullrich (7,8), F Mickey Lang (19), F Taylor Matson (2), F Tyler Murovich (9), and D Cody Wild (2)... F Tyler Murovich was recalled to the Iowa Wild (AHL) on Saturday...G John Curry was recalled to the Iowa Wild on Thursday... G Garret Sparks remains in the AHL with the Toronto Marlies... F Josh Caron remains in the AHL with the Iowa Wild... Forward C.J. Severyn remains in the AHL with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.

D Teigan Zahn is tied for second in the ECHL with 24 minor penalties and is second among defensemen with 88 PIM. He is tied for second among defensemen with 20 minor penalties... F David Vallorani leads the Grizzlies with 11 goals and 22 points... F Mathieu Aubin leads the Grizzlies with 13 assists... Utah is 15th on the power play at 13.5% (20-for-148) and 8th on the penalty kill at 86.7% (117-for-135).
