Las Vegas - Leading until the final minutes, the Las Vegas Wranglers fell 3-1 tonight as the Ontario Reign pulled off a comeback effort.

Wranglers goalie Mitch O'Keefe and Reign goalie Michael Hutchinson held the bulk of the first scoreless as Ontario dominated 19-4 in shots. With 47 seconds left in the period, Wranglers center Anthony Perdicaro scored his first goal with Las Vegas to give the home team the 1-0 lead. The one-goal game continued through the second period, and after 40 minutes, Ontario retained the shot lead 33-10 but still trailed by one on the scoreboard.

With 2:48 left in the game, Reign left wing Everett Sheen tallied a game-tying goal. The 1-1 score was brief as 69 seconds later, Reign forward Mario Lamoureux beat O'Keefe to give Ontario their first lead of the game. An empty net goal secured the 3-1 win for the Reign as O'Keefe made 39 saves on the night.

The Wranglers next head to Utah to play two games against the Grizzlies on Tuesday, Jan. 7, and Wednesday, Jan. 8. The team won't return home until Friday, Jan. 31, when they face the Reign again at 7:05 p.m.
