SF Bulls Blanked by Stockton

SAN FRANCISCO - The San Francisco Bulls (12-17-3-1) lost to the Stockton Thunder (17-11-0-4), 5-0, Saturday Night, at the Cow Palace. Parker Milner pitched the shutout for the Thunder stopping 32 shots.

James Henry gave Stockton a 1-0 lead. He scored off of a rebound at 7:58. Matt Bergland and Garet Hunt registered assists. Through 20 minutes the Thunder led 1-0. Both squads tied with 15 shots apiece.

In the second period the Thunder extended their lead. After sending a flurry of shots J.P. Anderson's way, Greg Miller got one past him at 4:47. With 1:24 remaining in the period, Stockton made it a 3-0 game. On the power play Lee Baldwin found the back of the net, on a feed from Joey Martin. In the second frame, Stockton out-shot the Bulls, 14-8.

Stockton added two more goals in the third. The first came 36 second into the period by Bruijsten. The second by Nathan Deck, nine minutes later on the power play. The Bulls had a few late chances, but Milner kept them off the board to secure the win.

Tomorrow the Bulls wrap up their three-in-three weekend set. They will be traveling to Ontario, California to take on the Reign. The matinee game begins at 3:00 pm.
