ABOUT LASTNIGHT: The Snappers defeated the Chiefs in 10 innings last night thanks to an Austin Beck walk-off RBI single plating Nick Allen. Hunter Hargrove picked up his first RBI of the season, as he drove home Beck in the 8th inning to tie the game at 1. Xavier Altamirano tossed five scoreless innings, allowing just one hit while striking out a pair, while Ty Damron tossed a scoreless eighth and ninth to get to Logan Salow (2-0) who picked up the win tossing the top of the 10th.

NICK THE KID: Snappers INF Nick Allen has hit safely in his last four games, batting .389-0-0 (7-18, 3 R, 2B, 2 K, 2 SB, CS*). *Allen was caught stealing for the first time in 2018, (5-6). In his 4 G hit streak, Allen has also had three two-hit performances.

HOME SWEET HOME: After not having a home game since Opening Day 4/5, the Snappers won their second game at home this season. The Snappers held a 37-33 record at Pohlman Field last season.

BUSHEL AND A BECK: Snappers outfielder Austin Beck leads the team with 12 RBI and had a career-high 4 RBI night on 4/7 @ WIS. His 12 RBI tie him for 5th in the MWL, and he also hit his first home run as a Snapper on 4/20 @ CLI. Beck also has 7 RBI in his last 6 games. And saw a 4-game hitting streak end on Sunday (4/22 @ CLI) (.412-1-6, 7-17, 4 R, 2B, 3B, BB, 3 K) from 4/12 @ BUR - 4/21 @ CLI.
