Today's Game: The Dayton Dragons (affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds) meet the Lansing Lugnuts (affiliate Toronto Blue Jays) in the second game of a four-game series. Series to Date: Lansing 1, Dayton 0.

Streaks: The Dragons have lost three straight games after winning nine straight. They continue to hold an eight-game home winning streak, two short of the club record set in 2008.

Standings: The Dragons are in third place, two games behind West Michigan and one-half game behind Lansing.

Last Game: Monday: Lansing 10, Dayton 7. The Lugnuts exploded for eight runs in the first inning and held off a furious Dayton comeback effort. The Dragons trailed 10-4 entering the ninth inning and finished the game with the tying run at the plate. Dayton had a season-high six doubles in the game, matched their season high with seven extra base hits, and finished with 13 hits, their second highest total of the year. Montrell Marshall had a home run and two runs batted in; Mark Kolozsvary had three hits including two doubles and an RBI; Jose Garcia had three hits including a double and an RBI; Stuart Fairchild had two hits. Austin Orewiler tossed 5.1 innings of long relief, allowing just two hits and one run as he threw 80 pitches.

Reliever John Ghyzel has not allowed a run in six relief appearances covering 6.0 innings. He is 3 for 3 in save situations. Reliever Connor Ryan (5 G, 5.2 IP) has also not allowed a run this season. Reliever Cory Thompson (6 G, 6.2 IP) has allowed just one unearned run this season.
