RHP Zack Brown (0-0, --) vs. LHP Ben Holmes (0-0, --)

PCL Parity: After just two days of games in Minor League Baseball there is just one team in the Pacific Coast League sitting at 2-0. The Las Vegas Aviators hold that distinction. Opening Night for New Orleans and Round Rock was rained out, making the New Orleans Baby Cakes the only other unbeaten team in the league at 1-0.

Three is Key: The Missions mustered three runs and were outhit 10-6 in last night's defeat at the hands of the Oklahoma City Dodgers. Last season San Antonio went 14-47 when scoring three runs or less and was 9-50 when getting outhit.

Fab Five: The Missions are one of five teams to have had their starters work at least five innings in each of the first two games. The others are Reno, Nashville, Memphis, Salt Lake, and Las Vegas. San Antonio's Opening Night starter, Adrian Houser and last night's starter, Bubba Derby each lasted five innings. Tonight's starter, Zack Brown went at least five innings in 17 of his 21 starts at Double-A Biloxi last season.

Close Calls: 2018 was all about close calls for the Missions in 2018 as the team played in 70 games decided by two runs or less. Both of their games in 2019 have been close affairs decided by two runs or less. San Antonio went 31-39 in such games in 2018.
