LAST GAME: 4-2 L vs Red Deer Rebels: The Tigers found themselves in a battle with the Central Division leading Red Deer Rebels Friday night at home, where rookie Cayden Lindstrom would pot the first two goals of the 1st period for the Tigers but Medicine Hat couldn't hold the lead against Red Deer as the Rebels would score four unanswered goals to skate away with a 4-2 victory over the Tigers and hand the Tigers their second straight loss.

VS WHEAT KINGS: It's the 1st of ffive meetings this season between the Wheat Kings and Tigers, In the 2021-22 WHL season, the series was split down the middle with both teams 2-2. O' Canada: Tigers forward Tomas Mrsic will represent Team Canada Red at the World U-17's in Langley BC in November, Mrsic has 5 points (2g, 3a) in 6 GP with the Tigers this season.

Tigers Debut: It will be newly acquired Kurtis Smythe's 1st game as a Medicine Hat Tiger, Smythe previously played for the Portland Winterhawks in 121 GP, registering 2 goals & 29 assists.

Welcome Home: The Tigers hadn't played a home game since October 1st in a 5-2 loss to the Winnipeg Ice and will play five straight home games at Co-op Place before their next trip on the road. Their homestand started Friday night against Red Deer, falling 4-2.

Tiger Trades: The Tigers were busy on the trade front this week, acquiring G Evan May (04) & a 5th Round Pick in the 2025 WHL Draft from the Everett Silvertips for Oren Shtrom and 8th Round Pick in 2023 & a 9th Round Pick in 2024. Wille Desjardins wasn't done there as he made a separate move with the Portland Winterhawks acquiring Kurtis Smythe (02) for another 8th Round Pick in the 2023 WHL Draft.

Langley Bound: Tigers F Tomas Mrsic was selected to Team Canada Red at the upcoming U17 Championship in Langley, BC later this month, Mrsic will leave for the U17's on October 31st.

From Jelgava With Love: Tigers defenceman Bogdans Hodass leads WHL defencemen in scoring 11 points through 9 games.

Busy Beckett: If he starts Tigers goaltender Beckett Langkow will start his 10th straight game for the Tigers, sporting a 3-5-1 record with a .871 Save Percentage and a 3.66 GAA,
