LAST GAME: 4-2 L vs Red Deer Rebels: The Tigers found themselves in a battle with the Central Division leading Red Deer Rebels Friday night at home, where rookie Cayden Lindstrom would pot the first two goals of the 1st period for the Tigers but Medicine Hat couldn't hold the lead against Red Deer as the Rebels would score four unanswered goals to skate away with a 4-2 victory over the Tigers and hand the Tigers their second straight loss.
VS WHEAT KINGS: It's the 1st of ffive meetings this season between the Wheat Kings and Tigers, In the 2021-22 WHL season, the series was split down the middle with both teams 2-2. Tigers Debut: It will be newly acquired Kurtis Smythe's 1st game as a Medicine Hat Tiger, Smythe previously played for the Portland Winterhawks in 121 GP, registering 2 goals & 29 assists.
Welcome Home: The Tigers hadn't played a home game since October 1st in a 5-2 loss to the Winnipeg Ice and will play five straight home games at Co-op Place before their next trip on the road. Their homestand started Friday night against Red Deer, falling 4-2.
