Flags 5 FROSTBITE 3
Adirondack suffered its first loss of the season, falling to Port Huron 5-3 at McMorran Arena. The Flags raced out to a 3-1 lead through one period, outshooting the Frostbite 17-13. Following a scoreless second period, the Frostbite pulled within one 2:55 into the third period on a Hugo Belanger power-play goal. But, the Flags came right back to score 34 seconds later to go back up by two. A Blue Bennefield shorthanded goal with 1:07 left in regulation gave Adirondack hope, but Port Huron scored an empty-net goal with 12.7 seconds left to set the final.
