Vipers Announce New Eight Dollar Ticket
October 31, 2005 - International Hockey League 2 (IHL 2)
Roanoke Valley Vipers News Release
ROANOKE, VA - The Roanoke Valley Vipers, member of the United Hockey League, UHL, announced today that they have added a new level of seating to their setup at the Roanoke Civic Center.
The new level, known as the "Top 8 for 8" section, will fittingly include seats in the top eight rows of what are currently the "Goal" sections, which are sections 1-5, 13-22, and 30-34. Any fan attending a Vipers home game will be able to purchase a ticket in this section for only $8.00, the lowest ticket price hockey fans in Roanoke have seen in many years! Children six and under will still receive the recently introduced "Under 6 for 6" ticket price of six dollars per seat in this section.
"We have heard the response of our fans," said team owner and governor, Kristen Dixon, "and we are proud to make hockey affordable to all families and individuals in the Valley with this new level of seating."
Vipers tickets are on sale now through the Roanoke Civic Center box office, tickets.com, or the Vipers front office by calling (540) 345-PUCK (7825). The Richmond RiverDogs come to town November 4th and 5th as the Vipers will look to improve upon their 1-0-0 record against their cross-state rivals. Don't miss a minute of the action! The puck drops at 7:35p.m. each night!
