Robinson, Reynaert earn weekly honors

LAKE ST. LOUIS, MO--- The United Hockey League (UHL) announced Monday that Muskegon Fury center Todd Robinson has been named Sher-Wood UHL Player of the Week and Kalamazoo Wings goaltender Jeff Reynaert has been named Southern Sports Supply UHL Goaltender of the Week for the period ending Sunday, October 30, 2005.

Robinson finished the week with nine points (2g, 7a) and a plus-5 rating in two games played. In Friday's 6-3 win vs. the Fort Wayne Komets, he netted one power play goal and one shorthanded goal, plus added three assists for a five-point night. The following evening he dished out four assists in the Fury's 9-3 victory vs. the Missouri River Otters. The 27-year-old native of Trail, British Columbia currently leads Muskegon with ten points (2g, 8a) and his eight assists are tied for second most in the UHL.

Other players nominated for the Sher-Wood UHL Player of the Week include: Adirondack center Sylvain Cloutier, Danbury forward Alex Goupil, Elmira right wing Jarrett Konkle, Flint right wing Matt Elich, Fort Wayne left wing P.C. Drouin, Kalamazoo left wing Joe Seroski, Missouri right wing Frank Littlejohn, Motor City center Chris Gignac, Port Huron center Aaron Brand, Quad City forward Chad Woollard, Richmond right wing Bobby Kukulka, Roanoke left wing Steve Crusco, and Rockford center Preston Mizzi.

Reynaert completed the week with a 2-0-0 record, a .980 save percentage (SPCT), a 0.50 goals against average (GAA), and one shutout. It was the first two appearances of the season for Reynaert. On Friday, he stopped all 29 Motor City shots to earn the 6-0 victory and record the first shutout in the UHL this season. The following night he turned away 20 of 21 shots in Kalamazoo's 4-1 victory vs. Fort Wayne. The 26-year-old Sterling Heights, Michigan native currently leads the UHL in GAA (0.50) and SPCT (.980).
