The Vipers took a 3-2 lead into the third period, but surrendered it as well as the game after allowing four third-period goals to the visiting Frostbite to fall by a final score of 6-3.

ROANOKE, VA - The Roanoke Valley Vipers, member of the United Hockey League (UHL), dropped their eleventh game of the season to the Adirondack Frostbite Wednesday night at the Roanoke Civic Center as they were frozen in the third period by Mike Boudreau and the Frostbite to fall by a final score of 6-3.
The Vipers ended the first period in a tie with Adirondack after a power play goal from Mark Scott at 10:06 and an unassisted goal from Jan Jas at 17:55. The Vipers scored the only goal of the second period as Mike Wiggins netted a shot off a pass from Mark Scott at 17:37.
Adirondack took control in the third period as Sylvain Cloutier tied it up with a power play goal at 6:12, and Greg Koehler, who has enjoyed past success against Roanoke Valley, gave the Frostbite the lead at 8:17. Cloutier scored his third and fourth goals of the evening before the rally would end at the 10:55 and 17:30 marks, giving himself the hat trick and a total of four points (4G) and a +3 rating on the night.
