Great Lakes Loons News Release
MIDLAND, Mich. - Due to in-game weather conditions that negatively affected field conditions, Friday night's game at Dow Diamond between the Great Lakes Loons (51-59, 24-16) and the West Michigan Whitecaps (53-55, 20-18) has been postponed. A makeup date has not been determined.
The game was scheduled to be the last in a four-game home-and-home series between Great Lakes and West Michigan.
The Loons hit the road Saturday to start a seven-game road trip with a four-game series at the Lake County Captains (42-65, 19-21). Tom Windle (3-0, 1.55 ERA), the Dodgers' No. 9 prospect, is expected to start for Great Lakes. Luis DeJesus (4-11, 6.85) is slated to start for Lake County. Game time is 7 p.m. The game will be broadcast on ESPN 100.9-FM and ESPN1009.com.
Fans that purchased tickets for Wednesday's rainout may exchange them at the Dow Diamond box office for tickets to any remaining Loons regular season home game, based on availability.
The Great Lakes Loons are a seventh-year Single-A partner of the Los Angeles Dodgers. For tickets and more information about the Loons, visit Loons.com or call 989-837-BALL.
