Fresno Falcons News Release

FRESNO, Calif. —Some fans may have been caught off-guard by Tuesday night's hat trick, but this Friday the Falcons will make sure everyone is ready in case there is a repeat performance! Friday is Falcons Hat Night, so the first 1,500 fans through the doors will receive a Falcons hat courtesy of Eye-Q Laser Center. Fans will also be able to attempt their own "hat trick" before the game by testing their skills at the Port of Subs Slapshot booth, located just outside the Northeast entrance of Selland Arena.

Just prior to the opening face-off at 7:30 p.m., the Falcons will honor player/assistant coach Glen Gulutzan, who on Tuesday in an 8-3 win against the San Diego Gulls became just the eighth player in WCHL history to record 400 career points. The Falcons' all-time leading scorer achieved the milestone in dramatic fashion when he fired home a slapshot to complete a hat trick for point number 400.

Once the puck drops for Friday's match-up against the Anchorage Aces, be sure to stay in your seats during intermission to witness a Fresno State on-ice broomball battle!! Representatives from Valley Teen Ranch will be collecting change to donate to Pennies from the Heart, and fans will have a chance to check out "Herbie the Love Bug", the Volkswagen beetle that Budget Car Rental and Sales will be giving away on 70's Night on February 21.

Individual tickets are still available for all remaining home games through all Ticketmaster outlets or at www.ticketmaster.com, as well as in person at the Selland Arena Box Office. For more information, please call the Falcons office at 485-PUCK!
