In cooperation with the Pittsburgh Penguins, the Wilkes Barre Scranton Penguins and the Pittsburgh Forge, the Wheeling Nailers will be the host team for the 4th annual Center Ice Summit. The summit, held at the Oglebay Resort & Conference Center in Wheeling, will include members of staff and management of the respective clubs coming together to generate new ideas in ticketing, marketing, and game promotions for the coming year.
The three-day summit concentrates on staff development and promoting a closer working relationship with the members of the different franchises. The summit will be capped off with a day of golf and a cookout at Oglebay.
"This is a great way for the different "team members" of the front office to get together and bounce ideas off one another to help promote our individual products" stated Tom Rooney, CEO of the Pittsburgh Penguins.
