
Fourth Quarter Rally Pushes Bighorns Past Legends

FRISCO, TX - The Texas Legends hosted the Reno Bighorns for the first matchup of the two teams. The Bighorns overcame a 13-point deficit to take the victory 130-122.
The game saw nine lead changes, seven of which came in the first quarter. Justin Anderson got off to a hot start hitting 4-of-6 for 11 points in the first 12 minutes. Texas held the lead through most of the first quarter, going up by as many as nine, but the Bighorns went on an 11-1 run and finished up with a 2-point advantage. Texas regained the lead almost immediately and held Reno to 18 points in the second to head into the locker room up 62-52.
Texas took the largest lead of the night in the third behind eight points from the newest Legend, Manny Harris, and seven each from Tu Holloway and Jamil Wilson. The fourth quarter began with an eight-point Legends lead but Erick Green and former-Legend Ricky Ledo combined for 23 points to the Legends' 22 points to dominate the final minutes and take a 1-0 lead in the season series.
Wilson came off the bench to lead the Legends with 20 points, followed closely by Harris with 19 in his first game as a Legend. Toure' Murry had 18 points, 10 rebounds and Allen Durham had 10 points, 10 rebounds.
Green powered out 34 points to lead the Bighorns followed by David Stockton and Ledo with 23 and 22 respectively. Vincent Hunter added the team's only double-double of 17 points, 15 rebounds.
The Legends will return to the court tomorrow night for a rematch against the Bighorns at 7pm. The game will be broadcast live on Texas-47 as well as online through the NBA D-League's YouTube channel and www.kvgiradio.com.
