Cedar Park, TX - Orlando Johnson posted a team-high 22 points, but the Austin Spurs (10-3) fell short to the Rio Grande Valley Vipers (7-5) 113-107 at Cedar Park Center Friday night.

Cady Lalanne and San Antonio Spurs assignee Ray McCallum each posted 20 points in the contest, and Deshaun Thomas added 17.

Austin took an early lead 27-23 in the first quarter, led by Lalanne and Orlando Johnson tallying eight points each. Austin led by as many as eight, ending the first quarter 27-23.

Austin's largest lead of the game (13) came in the second quarter paced by Lalanne's nine points. Austin entered halftime with a 36-33 lead.

RGV outscored Austin in the third quarter 26-21, led by Jaron Johnson's nine points. They maintained the lead in the fourth quarter, outscoring Austin 31-23.

Jaron Johnson led RGV with 25 points. Sean Cummings recorded 24 points, and Chris Walker posted a double-double contributing 15 points and a team-high 14 rebounds.
