Four-Game Win Streak Snapped in Kitchener

The Ottawa 67's had a four-game win streak come to an halt last night during a 5-1 decision against the Canadian Hockey League No. 3-ranked Rangers Friday night in Kitchener.

Ben Fanjoy scored the first goal of the game for Ottawa, but the Rangers took over from there.

Jeremy Bracco scored the tying goal shortly after Fanjoy put the 67's on the board, then sniper Adam Mascherin counted twice on power plays in the middle period to give the Rangers control.

Leo Lazarev played goal for the 67's and made 32 saves.

The 67's continue a tough road trip on Saturday in London against the No. 6-ranked Knights before completing the voyage on Sunday afternoon in Sarnia against the Sting.

Ottawa returns home for five straight road games at home before the Christmas break, beginning on Wednesday, December 9 at the Arena at TD Place against the Kingston Frontenacs (7 p.m. face-off). The 67's will also face the No. 1-ranked Erie Otters on Friday, December 11 (7 p.m.) and the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds on Sunday, December 13 in the team's annual Holiday Game, which will include the popular and spectacular Teddy Bear Toss, along with a Sing for Santa feature and autographs with the players after the game.
