Colorado Eagles News Release

LOVELAND, Colo. - The Colorado Eagles, proud affiliate of the NHL's Winnipeg Jets & the AHL's St. John's IceCaps, announced today that forward Michael Forney has been reassigned to the Eagles from the Texas Stars of the AHL, to whom he was sent as part of a trade on March 2.

In 11 games with the Stars, Forney registered a pair of points (1-1-2) and two penalty minutes, bringing his AHL totals this season -- also spent three games with the IceCaps -- to two points in 14 games.

The forward has recorded nearly a point-per-game with Colorado this season, posting 51 (20-31-51) in 53 contests. Despite playing just a partial season with the Eagles, he finished 5th on the team in points, tied for 4th in goals and 4th in plus/minus (+14).

Playoff tickets start at just $16 and can be purchased by visiting the Budweiser Events Center box office, calling 1-877-544-TIXX (8499) or online at www.ComcastTix.com .
