Former Snapper Named to Futures Team

Beloit Sky Carp News Release
The Minnesota Twins' 36th round pick in the 2005 First-Year Player Draft, outfielder Rene Tosoni has been selected to represent the World Roster for the 11th Futures Game.
The native from Canada was also a member of the 2007 Beloit Snappers, Tosoni on the year is batting .266 in 66 games while collecting 24 extra-base hits nine of which are home runs for the New Britain Rock Cats.
The Futures Game will be played on Sunday, July 12th at 1 p.m. CT, at Busch Stadium in St. Louis; the game can be seen live on ESPN2.
