Richmond Flying Squirrels News Release
The San Francisco Giants have made the following transactions affecting the roster of Double-A Richmond prior to their series-opener with Akron on Monday night:
C Matt Klimas activated from Disabled List (Back Spasms) and transferred to San Jose (A+)...LHP Craig Clark activated from Disabled List (Back Spasms) and transferred to Augusta (A)...RHP Tony Pena Jr. promoted to Fresno (AAA)...RHP Craig Westcott received from San Jose (A+) [24 + 2 DL].
The corresponding moves leave the Flying Squirrels at the Eastern League maximum of 24 active players. Two players (1B Andy D'Alessio, 2B Nick Noonan) are currently on the Disabled List.
