ENTERING TONIGHT'S ACTION...
Tonight, the SeaWolves take on the Bowie Baysox (Baltimore Orioles) in doubleheader action at Prince George's Stadium. Yesterday, the SeaWolves fell by a run to Richmond 5-4 en route to being swept in their fourth straight home series. The "Wolves have lost six consecutive games and are now a season-worst 13-games under .500. The "Wolves and Baysox will begin tonight's twin bill by completing a suspended game from June 6. The game will pick up in the third inning with Bowie leading the "Wolves 1-0. A second, seven-inning ballgame will follow. The "Wolves have won nine of the 12 meetings with Bowie this season, including taking seven of the nine games played at Prince George's Stadium...Both RHP Brooks Brown and RHP Steve Johnson will be picking up the suspended game in which they both started. In his last start, Brown finished a suspended game from May 27 and earned a complete game over Trenton. Brown leads the EL with two complete games. In the second game, Erie sends righty Anthony Shawler to the mound. Shawler is making his 14th appearance and second start. He took a no-decision in his last start against Trenton.
