
Florida Acquires Goaltender

Estero, FL - The Florida Everblades President/GM Craig Brush announced on Thursday night that goaltender Brian Leitza from the Baton Rouge Kingfish (ECHL) was acquired by Florida for cash. Leitza has a 3-3-2 record and a 3.61 GAA this season. The Lake Villa, Illinois native joins recently reassigned goaltender Randy Petruk and Cam McCormick on the Blades roster.
The Everblades take on the Columbus Cottonmouths this Friday and Saturday at TECO Arena. The puck drops at 7:30 PM for both contests. All 72 regular season games can be heard on Sportsradio 770 AM and on the web at www.floridaeverblades.com.
