Release Date: February 21, 2003 Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings of the United Hockey League announce a "Guaranteed Win Night" for fans on February 22nd as they host the Port Huron Beacons in a crucial game with playoff implications at Wings Stadium.
The K-Wings enter the weekend 4 1/2 games behind Port Huron and 3 1/2 games behind Rockford and Flint for the final UHL playoff spot. Including Saturday night's encounter with Port Huron, the K-Wings will play the Beacons three more times, with all the games played at Wings Stadium, which means all the remaining games with the Beacons have playoff implications.
With the K-Wings needing a victory on Saturday, they want all their fans to "Get Into the Game", and the best way to raise the level of excitement at Wings Stadium is to make Saturday a "Guarantee Win Night". If the Kalamazoo Wings win their game against the Beacons, all fans in attendance will receive a free ticket to the K-Wings home game on Wednesday, February 26th, against their division rivals the Muskegon Fury.
Come out and support your K-Wings as they aim to deliver with a victory over the Beacons and guarantee all the fans a ticket to February 26th game against Muskegon.
Face-off in Wings Stadium against Port Huron is at 7:30 pm. Tickets are available by calling the Wings Stadium Box Office at (269) 345-5101, or by stopping by the box office during regular business hours (M-F 10 am-6 pm, Saturday 10am-2pm)
