Florence, KY: Florence came into yesterday's game looking to win the series, and take two out of three from the Red Coats. An interesting start time, 12:35, welcomed 877 fans to Champion Window Field who somehow got out of work, to see this contest.
The game seemed to be all Ohio Valley until the eighth inning, when down by one by a score of 3-2, with two on, Darin Kinsolving smacked his third home-run of the year, to win this one for the Freedom, by a score of 5-4. Scotty Martin added his Sixth homer of the season. Freedom starter Mike Dennison pitched a solid game, eight and a third innings, giving up four runs on ten hits, striking out eight. He picked up the win to improve to 5-4 on the season, with an ERA of 3.77.
Florence begins the final series of their Nine game homestand later today Vs. the Kalamazoo Kings, with a game tonight at 7:05, gates open at Six, at Champion Window Field in Florence. Then the Freedom head out for a final series on the road before the All-Star break.
