
RiverHawks begin six-game homestand

ROCKFORD, Ill. - After making a short trip to Kalamazoo, the RiverHawks are back at Marinelli Field for a six-game homestand leading into the All-Star break.
Chillicothe comes to Rockford for a three-game set beginning on Wednesday and then the âHawks take on Florence in a three-game series, starting on Saturday.
The first game of the series versus Chillicothe is a Hooters Hot Wing Wednesday, which means the Hooter Girls will be serving free wings in the Miller Lite Beer Garden, starting at 6:05 p.m. It is also a Sherwin Williams Sure Win Wednesday, meaning that if the Hawks lose, each fan in attendance will receive a free ticket to an upcoming home game. In addition, there will be a Softee Ball giveaway courtesy of Associated Bank.
The game on July 7th is a Miller "Thirsty Thursday," when beer is only $1. On Friday night, fans will receive logo baseballs thanks to Blackhawk Communications and B103.
Only the first 1,000 fans through the gate receive giveaways. All three games start at 7:05 p.m. and the gates open at 6:05 p.m.
The RiverHawks are the defending champions of the Frontier League, a 12-team independent professional baseball league in its 13th season. Tickets are available by calling the box office at 964-BALL. All games are broadcasted live on WRHL-FM, 102.3 - the Hub.
