A five-run sixth for Pawtucket cost the Lehigh Valley IronPigs (55-71) in a 7-3 loss to the PawSox (49-78) on Friday night at McCoy Stadium.
The afore-mentioned five-run sixth gave Pawtucket a 7-3 lead and proved to be the difference in the game. Allen Craig came through with a two-run single, Deven Marrero and Carlos Rivero each had RBI singles and a throwing error charged to Pigs 3B Russ Canzler allowed another run to score.

Kelly Dugan's (1-3, HR, RBI, R) solo shot in the top of the second extended the IronPigs' lead to 3-0. The home run was Dugan's second of the year with the Pigs.
In a rehab start, PawSox starter Rick Porcello (n/d) gave up three runs on three hits while fanning six over 5.2 IP, The right-hander retired the final 13 batters that he faced.

Biddle (n/d) gave up three runs on eight hits to go along with two walks and three strikeouts over five plus innings of work.
The PawSox cut the lead to 3-2 with a run in the fifth as Marrero led off with a single, moved to second on a wild pitch and scored on Sandy Leon's RBI single.
Jordan Danks extended his hitting streak to eight games with an eighth inning single for manager Dave Brundage's squad.
RHP Colton Murray (1.0 IP, BB, K) and RHP Seth Rosin (1.0 IP, BB, 2 K) each tossed a scoreless frame in relief for Lehigh Valley.
