New Hampshire Fisher Cats News Release
Manchester, N.H. - The New Hampshire Fisher Cats, Double-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays, have been selected by the readers of Parenting New Hampshire Magazine for the Family Favorites Award as New Hampshire's "Favorite Sporting Event for Families".
"We are honored to accept the Family Favorites Award as the "Favorite Sporting Event for Families", especially because it has come directly from parents who have personally enjoyed coming to New Hampshire Fisher Cats games," said Fisher Cats President Rick Brenner. "We pride ourselves on being a safe, clean and affordable family-friendly environment, making this award very special to us. We'd like to thank all who voted for their support of the Fisher Cats Entertainment Experience."
The Family Favorite Awards is a new awards program that recognizes family-friendly businesses, services and places as chosen by the readers of Parenting New Hampshire Magazine.
"As parents are often balancing work, school, homework, daycare and their kids' activities- their time has become an even more precious commodity," says Melanie Hitchcock, editor of Parenting New Hampshire. "A great family vacation, exceptional customer service or a gentle understanding that small children are loud and messy can go a long way in the eyes of parents who just want to create special memories with their kids."
The Family Favorites Awards voting took place online from June 1 through July 29, 2011. The results of the reader's poll will appear in the October 2011 issue of Parenting New Hampshire Magazine.
Parenting New Hampshire is the state's premier parenting magazine and a resource for families who live in or visit New Hampshire throughout the year.
Fisher Cats individual home playoff game tickets, playoff ticket strips and 2012 season tickets are available now at the Fisher Cats Ticket Office at 1 Line Drive, Manchester, NH 03101, online at www.nhfishercats.com
