"We are delighted to once again host this remarkable event, bringing baseball fans and stars together for an evening of entertainment and selflessness," said Fisher Cats Owner Art Solomon. "It is with great pleasure that we support CHaD, the Ted Williams Museum and the Fisher Cats Foundation charities, and it is a privilege to partner with Northeast Delta Dental to make this night possible."

Doors to the event will open at 5:00 p.m. with a silent auction and an autograph session with the honored guests running from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Dinner will be served at 7:00 p.m. As New Hampshire's only children's hospital, CHaD is committed to providing outstanding compassionate care for children and their families. The Ted Williams Museum, located at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, FL, strives to preserve and build on the rich tradition and heritage of our national pastime-baseball. The museum's mission is one of outreach and education. The Fisher Cats Foundation is a charitable organization dedicated to bettering the lives of young people by supporting Children's Hospital at Dartmouth (CHaD) and providing scholarships to college-bound New Hampshire and Massachusetts students.

"We are happy to announce this incredible initial roster of special guests confirmed for this year's Granite State Baseball Dinner," said Fisher Cats President Rick Brenner. "Chris Carpenter is a certified big league ace, Sam Fuld a rising star with a promising career ahead of him, and they are both New Hampshire products. Red Sox and Yankees fans who watched "Oil Can" Boyd, Bernie Carbo and Oscar Gamble play will remember all the great moments they each provided during their careers. We look forward to adding to this already extraordinary starting lineup."

Carpenter, the 2005 National League Cy Young Award winner and 2006 World Series Champion, has compiled an 8-9 record with a 3.76 ERA this year in 28 starts for the St. Louis Cardinals. The three-time All-Star, who hails from Exeter, NH, has a career record of 141-92 now playing in his 14th season as a Major League pitcher. Carpenter holds a career postseason record of 5-2 with a 2.93 ERA, including a dominant eight inning shutout victory over the Detroit Tigers in his lone World Series start.

Fuld, a Durham, NH native, has emerged as the everyday left fielder in his first season with the Tampa Bay Rays. Fuld has often been seen on ESPN Baseball Tonight's Web Gems and SportsCenter Top Plays segments for his athletic defensive plays in the outfield. The Phillips Exeter Academy graduate currently leads the Majors in range factor/9Inn as a left fielder at 2.49 (putouts + assists / innings played) to go along with career highs in doubles (18), triples (5), homeruns (3), RBI (26) and stolen bases (20).

Boyd, who won 78 games in his Major League career, spent eight of his 10 Major League seasons in a Red Sox uniform from 1982-1989. In 1986, "Oil Can" notched a career high 16 wins to go along with a 3.78 ERA in helping guide the Red Sox to the World Series.

Carbo is best known for his Red Sox Hall of Fame Moment, the pinch-hit, three-run home run in the bottom of the eighth inning in game six of the 1975 World Series. It was the blast that made Carlton Fisk's theatrical walk-off homer in the 12th inning possible. Carbo was the 1970 National League Rookie of the Year for the Cincinnati Reds and slugged 96 career homeruns over his 12-year career.

Gamble, well known for his large afro hairstyle, played seven of his 17 seasons in Major League Baseball with the New York Yankees. In 1976, Gamble helped the Yankees win their first American League Pennant in 12 seasons, clubbing 17 home runs and 57 RBI. In 1979, he finished with a career-best .358 batting average, hitting 19 homeruns with the Yankees and Rangers.
