Tonight, the SeaWolves continue their final homestand of the 2011 season as they take on the Binghamton Mets (New York Mets) in the third game of a four-game series at Jerry Uht Park. Last night, the 'Wolves battled back from down 3-0 to tie the game in the sixth, only to lose the game on a ninth inning home run. The loss was the SeaWolves third straight overall and fifth consecutive to Binghamton...Tonight, lefty Jay Voss takes the mound for the SeaWolves making his 18th start and third against the Mets. Voss is 1-1 against Binghamton.Voss took a no-decision in his last start against Bowie on August 26. In the game, he allowed five runs on seven hits with a walk and six strikeouts in six innings of work. Voss left the game trailing and the 'Wolves came from behind to take down the Baysox 7-5. Erie has won three straight and five of the last six games Voss has started...Righty Jeurys Familia takes the mound for the Mets making his 16th start and second against the SeaWolves. The 'Wolves beat Familia on June 1 at NYSEG Stadium. That day, the righty allowed six runs, three earned, on seven hits with three walks and four strikeouts in four innings. He took a no-decision in his last start against Altoona on August 25. In the game he allowed four runs, three earned, on seven hits with two walks and four strikeouts in five innings. Familia is 2-1 with a 4.05 ERA in five road starts...The SeaWolves final home game is tomorrow night at 7:05. Erie will play four in Bowie to end the season.
