New Hampshire Fisher Cats News Release

MANCHESTER, N.H. - The Fisher Cats and the Akron Aeros were rained out on Thursday, forcing the cancellation of the series finale. Because it was the last scheduled regular season game between the two clubs, the game will not be made up.

Tickets for Thursday's game may be exchanged at the Fisher Cats ticket office for any future 2013 regular season game, based upon availability.

The teams split the two-game series with the Fisher Cats rallying for five runs in the ninth inning on Wednesday night. New Hampshire finished its season series with Akron with a 1-4 record.

The Fisher Cats now continue their homestand on Friday night with the first of three games against the Erie SeaWolves (Detroit Tigers). Friday's contest features Atlas Fireworks and fans can win prizes by playing USA Subs Baseball Bingo. Tickets are available at www.nhfishercats.com, at the Fisher Cats ticket office, and by calling (603) 641-2005.

The Fisher Cats are expected to start Ryan Tepera (6-4, 4.12) against Erie righty Victor Larez (5-3, 5.29). Radio coverage of the game begins at 6:45 p.m. with Tom Gauthier and Chris Shuker on the WGIR Fisher Cats Radio Network and www.nhfishercats.com.
