COLUMBIA, S.C. - A major milestone in the construction of Spirit Communications Park was reached on Tuesday as the first pieces of vertical steel were erected. These pieces were set in place along the first base line of the ballpark this morning.

In the "spirit" of major milestones, Columbia Professional Baseball will be announcing the team name and unveiling the team's official logos on Tuesday, August 4th.
