Shorebirds Return Home Thursday

SALISBURY, Md. -- The Delmarva Shorebirds return to Arthur W. Perdue Stadium for a seven-game homestand that will begin on Thursday, July 30.

This homestand will feature two opponents that have yet to play in Salisbury this season. The first four games will be against the Charleston RiverDogs (New York Yankees affiliate) before the homestand wraps up with a three-game set versus the Hickory Crawdads (Texas Rangers affiliate).

The Shorebirds have a number of special promotions planned including a pink and gray hat giveaway, the first-ever money giveaway in Shorebirds history and two firework shows.

Thursday, July 30 vs. Charleston RiverDogs, 7:05 p.m.

Thursday's series opener against the Charleston RiverDogs will feature a pink and grey hat giveaway presented by Spicer Bros. Construction Inc. The unique hat is the third in the series of four this year, and they will be given away to the first 500 fans through the gates.

Thursday's game will also be another Kiss 95.9 Thirsty Thursday presented by University Village of Salisbury. Drink specials include 16-ounce cans of Miller Lite and Coors Light, as well as 16-ounce Pepsi products, for just $2 all game long.

Friday, July 31 vs. Charleston RiverDogs, 7:05 p.m.

The Shorebirds will kick off the weekend by rewarding fans with FREE money just for coming to the ballpark. The first-ever Money Giveaway, presented by Bank of Delmarva, will award cash prizes to the first 1,000 fans through the gates for Friday's game. Bank of Delmarva and the Shorebirds will be giving away a total of $2,500, and one lucky fan will take home a $500 grand prize.

The annual Crab Feast will also take place during Friday's game. For just one price, fans can enjoy the game on the picnic deck while enjoying an all-you-can-eat buffet and receiving a souvenir crab mallet. The deadline to register for this event is on Wednesday by 5 p.m., and fans wishing to purchase tickets can do so by calling 410-219-3112.

All fans will be able to enjoy one of the best drink specials on the Shore during Froggy 99.9 Big Beer Friday. 32-ounce Coors Light and Miller Lite drafts will cost just $6 all night long.

Finally, the Shorebirds will treat fans to the first of two firework shows of the weekend following the game.

Saturday, August 1 vs. Charleston RiverDogs, 7:05 p.m.

The weekend continues with a fireworks extravaganza after Saturday night's game presented by Mountaire Farms. That night's game will also be Mountaire Family Night at the ballpark, as Mountaire Farms will host all their growers, employees and family members for a night of Shorebirds baseball.

Sunday, August 2 vs. Charleston RiverDogs, 5:05 p.m.

The Shorebirds will continue the fight against hunger on the Peninsula by holding another Strike Out Hunger Sunday. Fans who bring two canned food items for donation to the Perdue Stadium box office will receive a $3 general admission ticket.

Members of the McDonald's of the Eastern Shore Junior 'Birds Kids Club will also have the opportunity to run the bases following the game thanks to Chili's Grill and Bar.

Monday, August 3 vs. Hickory Crawdads, 7:05 p.m.

The Shorebirds will kick off their series with the Crawdads on a 47 ABC Two Buck Monday. Fans will be able to enjoy special $2 pricing on general admission tickets, Esskay hot dogs and small Pepsi products. No coupon is required to take advantage of these deals.

Tuesday, August 4 vs. Hickory Crawdads, 7:05 p.m.

Every Tuesday during the 2015 season is a Two For Tuesday presented by McDonald's of the Eastern Shore. Fans who bring a receipt for an extra value meal, happy meal or full-sized salad to the Perdue Stadium box office can receive a buy one, get one free offer on general admission tickets.

Fans who attend the game can also participate in a Tweet Your Seat contest for a chance to win a prize pack

Wednesday, August 5 vs. Hickory Crawdads, 7:05 p.m.

The homestand will conclude on another Silver Sluggers Night presented by Coastal Home Care. This affordable ticket plan for seniors features tickets to all Wednesday home games.

All fans in attendance will also have the chance to play Baseball Bingo for their chance to win a prize from the Shorebirds.
