Charleston, SC - Tuesday's series finale between the Greenville Drive and Charleston RiverDogs was all about the pitching, and the RiverDogs took advantage of a pair of Drive errors to win the game 2-1, clinching a split of the four-game series in the process.

Joey Maher (2-4) got the win for the RiverDogs by allowing only one run over six innings of work. Chance Adams and Caleb Frare kept the Drive off the board for the final three frames to seal the win, with Frare collecting his third save of the year.

Drive (14-18, 52-50) starter Reed Reilly (4-5) was saddled with the loss despite pitching six innings and allowing just two unearned runs.

The RiverDogs struck first in the third. Devyn Bolasky walked, moved to second on a wild pitch, advanced to third on Slade Heathcott's single and came home on an error by Reilly.

The Drive tied things up in the fifth as Yoan Moncada doubled with one out and came home when Danny Mars singled to center.

In the bottom half of the fifth, the RiverDogs answered right back and took the lead for good. The inning began with a single by Collin Slaybaugh. He advanced to second on a ground out and came home on the Drive's second error of the game, this one by Javier Guerra.

Jamie Callahan struck out three over two scoreless relief innings for the Drive. Guerra and Mars each picked up a pair of hits in the game, while Charleston got two-hit efforts from Heathcott and Isaias Tejeda.

After an off day on Wednesday, the Drive return home on Thursday to begin a four-game series with the Lexington Legends, affiliate of the Kansas City Royals. Thursday's game will be televised nationally on CBS Sports Network, with first pitch scheduled for 7:05 PM. RH Ben Taylor (0-1, 3.86) will take the mound for the Drive.
