First Place Captains Return Home Tuesday For A Six-Game Home Stand

The Lake County Captains, Class A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians, return home for a six-game home stand beginning Tuesday against the Beloit Snappers, an affiliate of the Minnesota Twins. The Captains will face the Snappers for three games and then the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, an affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers.

Tuesday is Two-for-Tuesdays and Kids Eat Free. Kids 12 and under with a paid admission receive a voucher for a free hot dog, fries and soda when they enter Classic Park. The Captains also offer a buy-one-get-one free special on hot dogs, fries, onion rings, chips, soft pretzels and popcorn. Fans can also receive a buy-one get-one free ticket offer by bringing a KRAFT Singles wrapper to the Classic Park box. For more information on the offer, visit kraftsingles.com. Game time is 7:00 PM.

Wednesday is "Feed Your Face" night. For only $18, fans receive a game ticket and all-you-can-eat hot dogs, fries, onion rings, popcorn and chips. Game time is 7:00 PM.

Thursday is a special 11:00 AM start and Senior Day.

Friday is Italian Heritage night and also the start of Sausagefest weekend. Sausagefest will feature a variety of sausages being served at the Sausage Shack and there will be various events pertaining to the love of all things sausage. Italian Heritage night will feature pre-Game Bocce Ball, Button-Box Accordionist Joe Gallo and lots of Italian cuisine. A fireworks extravaganza follows the 7:00 PM game presented by Plevin and Gallucci.

Sausagefest continues on Saturday and it is also Hungarian Heritage night. Hungarian Heritage Night will feature pre-game performances by the Csardas Dance Company, Hungarian Scout Folk Ensemble and the Hungarian Chorus. Hungarian Cuisine will be served throughout the game. The first 1,500 fans through the gates will receive a Soft-Sided Lunchbox courtesy of Lake Health. Saturday is a "Silent Auction Saturday" giving fans the opportunity to bid on various pieces of baseball memorabilia in a silent auction as well as purchase raffle tickets for other prizes. Proceeds will go to the American Heart Association and Captains Charities. A fireworks show will follow the 7:00 PM game presented by Discount Drug Mart.

Following Saturday's fireworks show, Chick-Fil A in Willoughby will host a post-game party for all ticket holders. The first 100 people into the store after the game will win a week's worth of Spicy Chicken Sandwiches.

Football star Josh Cribbs will make an appearance at Classic Park at Sunday's 1:00 PM game. A limited number of VIP meet-and-greet ticket packages are still available, giving fans the opportunity to spend time with Cribbs in the private picnic area. The second annual Burnt River Browns Backers Tailgate party with the Captains will take place before the game as the Gold Lot opens for tailgaters at 8:00AM. There will be a special raffle and silent auction to benefit the National Kidney Foundation.

Sunday is also the Captains Motorcycle Run and Rally. The Rally will begin at Scores Fun Center in Painesville at 11:00 AM and end at Classic Park. There will be a pre-game parade of motorcycles on the field prior to the game. Sausagefest weekend concludes as part of Family Fun Sunday presented by Andrews Osborne Academy, featuring a pre-game player autograph session, lots of concourse entertainment and the opportunity for kids to run the bases after the game. In addition, kids who are part of Skipper's Lil' Buddies Club will have the opportunity to announce players over the public address system and sit in the radio booth during the game. The Browns mascot Chomps will make an appearance as well.

TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Fans may visit CaptainsBaseball.com for information on alternate routes to and from Classic Park during the current construction that is taking place on Route 91. The Captains are working with the City of Eastlake and ODOT to ensure the smoothest possible traffic flow for fans attending games at Classic Park until the construction is completed.
