"We are thriiled to be able to partner with remedy.fm to bring great performers to Parkview Field this summer," said TinCaps Vice President of Marketing, Michael Limmer. "The TinCaps pride ourselves on being able to bring a wide variety of entertainment to a diverse audience. The 'Flava' concert series with remedy.fm will provide a positive Christian message with a hip hop and rock feel. It's great music with a great message. Remedy.fm went live in October 2007 with a mission to use relevant, positive music as a vehicle to connect with a generation on the internet. Their purpose was to develop relationships with teens online so we could hear what they're going through. Then, in God's perfect timing, we could provide a "remedy" for the struggles they face.
Artist Information:
KJ-52: Won his most recent Dove award late April 2009 in the category "Rap/Hip Hop Recorded Song." His last album "The Yearbook" was released fall 2008. KJ-52 has sold over 500,000 albums.
Red Umbrella: A four member pop-rock band from Canada now signed to 7-Spin Records, an indie label out of Valparaiso, Indiana. Their new album "Living and Surviving" was released late 2008.
