Kane County Cougars News Release
GENEVA, IL - In cooperation with K-LOVE, the Kane County Cougars present a post-game concert featuring the band Inhabited at Elfstrom Stadium this Saturday, May 2 for the 5 p.m. game.
The concert, which will be the first Christian rock concert in the 19-year history of the Cougars and Elfstrom Stadium, is scheduled to take place following this Saturday's game between the Cougars and South Bend Silver Hawks. Fans will be treated to family-friendly entertainment including a pre-game autograph session, between-innings promotions, and a chance for all in attendance to run the bases. Shortly after the game, Pastor Brian Smith will entertain the crowd with several magic tricks before Inhabited takes the stage.
A ticket to the May 2nd game is required for admission, and includes both the game as well as the post-game concert.
Based out of Houston, Texas, Inhabited has toured with popular Christian music artists such as Todd Agnew, the Newsboys and Matthew West. Fueled by an upbeat style and positive message, the five-person band saw their hit single, "Rescue Me" reach the Top 20 charts on both Christian and Rock radio formats.
The band's latest album, titled "Love", was released this past February and has gained heavy radio airplay this spring. In the past, the band has worked with producer Monroe Jones, who has guided popular Christian artists such as Third Day, Chris Rice and Mark Schultz.
Similar to past concerts that have been held at Elfstrom Stadium, fans will be allowed onto the infield during the Inhabited concert, or can enjoy the show from their seats.
Groups of 20 or more will have the opportunity to purchase discounted tickets for admission to the Right Field Deck. Tickets for those groups are priced at $8 per ticket and can be ordered by contacting the Cougars Group Sales department at (630) 232-8811.
