November 18, 2022 - United States Hockey League (USHL)
Lincoln Stars News Release
Lincoln Stars 18U AAA forward Mike Baran has signed a North American Hockey League tender agreement with the North Iowa Bulls for the 2023-24 season.
Baran, 17, becomes the first member of the Stars AAA program to sign a tender agreement in the team's first season.
Baran is off to a nearly two-points per game average to open up the season, recording eight goals and seven assists through his first eight games. His hot start comes after scoring 21 goals and adding 26 assists in 56 games with the Boston Hockey Academy 16U AAA team.
"Mike is one of the hardest workers on the team, and that has not gone unnoticed," head coach Keith Burchett said. "We are excited to watch him continue to grow and to go to a top program in the NAHL."
The Stars' AAA team is on the road in Indianapolis this weekend after taking all four games last week at the NAPHL Showcase in Dallas. For more information on the Lincoln Stars 18U AAA team please visit their website at lincolnstarsaaa.com.
