Final vote wraps up fan-driven game on May 18

Bowling Green, KY - In the final vote before Facebook Fans Night on May 18, the Bowling Green Hot Rods announced that their Facebook fans have cast their support to Bellewood Presbyterian Home for Children. This means that $1 of every May 18th ticket purchased by Facebook fans will support Bellewood and its service to abused and homeless youth and families across Kentucky.
In the last week, the Hot Rods asked Facebook fans which local charity they wanted to benefit through the sale of Facebook Fans Night tickets. By the end of voting on Wednesday, more than 7,000 tallies were cast, supporting nearly 40 charities and agencies in South Central Kentucky.
"This shows the true community spirit of our fans," said Hot Rods President Brad Taylor. "Every agency that our fans recommended is a vital part of our community. We are pleased to partner with our fans and support Bellewood and the incredible services they provide, not only in South Central Kentucky, but across the entire Commonwealth."
This final voting element wraps up a night totally determined by Facebook fans. For more than two months, fans cast votes on a variety of elements they will see and experience on May 18.
