Reading, PA â The Reading Royals, affiliate of the NHL's Los Angeles Kings and AHL's Manchester Monarchs, have announced that the Royals radio show, Royals Weekly, has been moved from 6:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. this Monday, April 11.
Royals Weekly is the Royals one-hour, call-in radio show featuring player guests, prizes for fans, special guests from the hockey world and comments from coach Derek Clancey. Royals Weekly airs live from the Classic Café, off Route 183 just two miles North of the Reading Airport. Royals Weekly began in October and has followed the Royals throughout the 2004-05 season. For the final show this Monday, fans will have the chance to win prizes just for attending, as well as, a team autographed stick and 2005 ECHL All-Star jersey along with four tickets to the Royals first Kelly Cup Playoff game in the Sovereign Center. Several members of the Royals hockey club will be in attendance along with Royals Captain #12 Cail Maclean and veteran forward #22 Larry Courville.
The Classic Café features a choice between their lunch or dinner menu, plus $1 16-ounce draft beers on Mondays. The Café features Labatt Blue, Sam Adams, Yuengling Lager and Coors Light on tap. The Classic Café is also the proud sponsor of four-or-more goals in the Sovereign Center. When the Royals score four-or-more at home during the regular season, fans can take their ticket stubs to the Classic Café for a free desert or appetizer with the purchase of an entrée within 48 hours.
Kelly Cup Playoff tickets are now on sale at the Sovereign Center Box Office. The Box Office is opened Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Tickets can also be purchased on Ticketmaster online at www.Ticketmaster.com or by calling Ticketmaster at 215-336-2000. Reading hosts Toledo for game one in the Sovereign Center in Reading on Thursday, April 14 at 7:05 p.m.
