Manzano and Desrochers Loaned to Bridgeport; Tremblay Headed to Cleveland

Johnstown, PA- Johnstown Chiefs Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Toby O'Brien announced today, that forward Jean Desrochers and defenseman Ian Manzano have been loaned to the American Hockey Leagues Bridgeport Soundtigers and forward Jonathan Tremblay has been recalled to the Cleveland Barons.

Desrochers, 24, played in all 72 games for the Chiefs this season, scoring 19 goals and 52 points. The Dalhousie, Quebec native represented the Chiefs at the 2005 ECHL all-star game.

Manzano, 27, played in 71 games for Johnstown this season scoring a goal and 22 points. Manzano was one of the Chiefs assistant captains this season.

Desrochers and Manzano join former Chief Joe Tallari in Bridgeport. Both players will be available for the Soundtigers game Wednesday night at Albany.

Tremblay, 21, played in 46 games with the Chiefs scoring 2 goals and 5 points and a team high 136 PIM. Tremblay is under contract with the Barons.
