
Rays Face Florida In First Round

South Carolina Stingrays News Release
The Stingrays and the Everblades played five games this season with three taking place at the North Charleston Coliseum. The Stingrays finished the season series with a record of 3-2, while the Everblades had a mark of 2-2-1 against the Rays. South Carolina won both games two games this season at Germain arena while managing just one victory at home against the Blades. Florida swept the Stingrays in the Conference semifinals last season and has a mark of 4-0 in the Kelly Cup Playoffs against the Stingrays.
The Stingrays:
South Carolina finished the season with a record of 39-24-9 in third place in the East Division. The Stingrays enter the playoffs as the sixth seed in the American Conference. The Stingrays have a record of 25-8-3 at home and 14-16-6 on the road. The Rays had a record of 5-4-1 to in the last ten games of the regular season and went 1-1-1 in the last week of the campaign.
The Everblades:
Florida finished the season with a record of 42-20-10 in second place in the South Division. The Everblades come into the playoffs as the third seed in the American Conference, despite having the second best record among the eight playoff teams. Florida has a record of 21-9-6 at Germain Arena and 21-11-4 on the road.
