Final Game of Road Trip Suspended Due to Rain

Battle Creek, MI - The final game of a six-game road trip was suspended due to heavy rain at C.O. Brown Stadium Wednesday against the Battle Creek Bombers.
The Traverse City Pit Spitters led the game 5-0 at the point of suspension. Colin Summerhill singled home two runs in the first and added another RBI in the second. Christian Faust singled home a run in the second and Johannes Haakenson scored on a wild pitch.
Aren Gustafson had two strikeouts through two innings. After a leadoff walk to start the bottom of the third, the umpires called a rain delay and eventually called the game.
These teams will make up this game at a later date, to be determined.
Up Next
