
FC Dallas Announces Details for Celebrate25 Week Leading up to 2020 Home Opener on February 29

FRISCO, TX - FC Dallas opens its 25th season in Major League Soccer on Saturday, February 29 against the Philadelphia Union in a match presented by AdvoCare at Toyota Stadium. To kick off the season, FC Dallas is hosting a series of celebrations and events which lead up to the 2020 season opener. Dave Dir, the first head coach in franchise history, will scarf the Lamar Hunt statue prior to the match and take a penalty kick at halftime to benefit Children's Medical Center Plano.
FC Dallas at Ticketstock 2020
Stop by the FC Dallas booth at Sports Radio 1310's Ticketstock 2020 located at the Plano Events Center in Plano, TX. Fans can participate in live drawings for FC Dallas hats, shirts, soccer balls and backpacks. There will also be opportunities to play cornhole, Jenga and take selfies with FC Dallas girls. Ticketstock is 12-8PM Friday, February 21 and Saturday, February 22.
25 Days of Giveaways Continue
FC Dallas' 25 Days of Giveaways continue with a variety of prizes and experiences the team is giving away on social media.

105.3 The Fan and FC Dallas launch CELEBRATE25 week with the first-ever 105.3 The Fan FC Dallas Kickoff Show at the Entercom Lounge located at 105.3 The Fan studios in Dallas on Monday, February 24 from 7-8PM. FC Dallas Defender Reggie Cannon, Midfielder Paxton Pomykal, Head Coach Luchi Gonzalez and President Dan Hunt will join K&C Masterpiece hosts Kevin Hageland and Corey Mageors to preview the upcoming season. Get the latest from the FC Dallas locker room each week with The Luchi Gonzalez Show Presented by Toyota. The FC Dallas head coach's new radio show debuts on Thursday at 1:30PM on 105.3 The Fan. Every Thursday at 1:30PM during the MLS regular season, Gonzalez will join K&C Masterpiece's Kevin Hageland and Cory Mageors to preview the upcoming match and dive deep into the latest FC Dallas news.
Cocktails and Cleats Presented by Chase
FC Dallas' best party off the pitch is Cocktails and Cleats presented by Chase. The annual fundraiser gives fans a chance to meet the 2020 team, bid on silent auction items, unique experiences and much more. This year's party is Thursday, February 27 from 7-10PM at the Hall of Fame Club at Toyota Stadium in Frisco. All proceeds from the party benefit the FC Dallas Foundation. Supporters' 24-Hour Tailgate
FC Dallas Supporters, the Dallas Beer Guardians, help kick off the 2020 season with a 24-Hour Tailgate starting at 5PM Friday, February 28 in the Corolla Red Lot at Toyota Stadium. El Matador joins the party at noon on Saturday, February 29. The tradition, which dates back to 2005, is open to all fans. The 24-Hour Tailgate runs right up to the 5PM kickoff of FC Dallas' match against the Union.
CELEBRATE25 Night at Toyota Stadium
All of the CELEBRATE25 events lead up to FC Dallas' 25th season which begins Saturday, February 29 at 5PM against the Philadelphia Union in a match presented by AdvoCare at Toyota Stadium. CELEBRATE25 night at Toyota Stadium will feature unique giveaways, surprises, special guests, including the first head coach in franchise history, Dave Dir, and more.
