
Fans to vote "Heroes of Hometown Hockey All-Time Team" at Hamilton "Pizza Pizza" locations

The Hamilton Bulldogs announced today that Hamilton hockey fans will have the opportunity to vote for the "Heroes of Hometown Hockey All-Time Team" at Hamilton area "Pizza Pizza" locations. All players and coaches on the ballot are from the Hamilton area or have made significant contributions to Hamilton hockey. Fans can make their vote for the top three forwards, two defenceman, one goaltender and one coach at any of the eleven Hamilton 'Pizza Pizza' locations.
"The Bulldogs organization is thrilled to give fans the opportunity to vote for their 'All-Time Team'," said Bulldogs president, Steve Katzman. "This balloting process will also allow Hamiltonians to give well deserved recognition to the 'Heroes of Hometown Hockey'.
The ballots will be collected on Tuesday, March 16th and the individuals on the ballots with the most votes will be named to the "Heroes of Hometown Hockey All-Time Team", which will be announced at the "Heroes of Hometown Hockey" game on Friday, March 26th at 7:00 p.m. when the Bulldogs host the St. John's Maple Leafs at Copps Coliseum.
"Hamilton is a very knowledgeable hockey city and this contest gives fans the opportunity to pick individuals who are very worthy of being selected to those positions," said Ric Nattress, a Hamilton native and a Stanley Cup Champion with the Calgary Flames in 1989.
One lucky fan will have their name drawn randomly from all of the ballots and will win a 'Heroes of Hometown Hockey' autographed replica jersey, two tickets to the pre-game dinner and two tickets to the March 26th game between the Bulldogs and Maple Leafs.
