--The Wolves rallied late in the third period, but couldn't overcome a two-goal deficit in a 2-1 loss against the Milwaukee Admirals at the Bradley Center
--Goaltender MICHAEL GARNETT registered 24 saves in his first-ever AHL loss
--Left wing KARL STEWART tallied Chicago's only goal

--The Wolves pulled within one goal with less than two minutes remaining, but couldn't catch the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks in a 3-2 loss at the Cincinnati Gardens
--Right wing STEPHEN BABY and center TOMMI SANTALA scored for Chicago
--Goaltender FREDERIC CASSIVI recorded 28 saves

--The Wolves enjoyed the only two leads of the game, but couldn't hold on as they knotted the Houston Aeros, 2-2, at the Allstate Arena

KARL STEWART: Currently on a two-game point streak ... Posted 23 assists this season, which ranks third among AHL rookies and shares first on the team ... STEVE MALTAIS: Recorded a season-most 22 penalty minutes on Saturday ... Paces the team and shares 13th in the league with 43 points in 53 games ... Shares third in the AHL with a team-leading 10 power-play goals

STEPHEN BABY: Notched a goal against Cincinnati on Friday, his first tally in five games ... Paces team rookies with seven goals this season and ranks second among Wolves rookies with 16 points in 42 games

MIKE WEAVER: Registered a career-high 10 assists and 12 points in 53 games this season, which includes an assist on Saturday ... Posted two helpers in his last three games ... Shares second among league defensemen and is tied for fifth in the AHL overall with a team-leading +18 plus/minus rating

KAMIL PIROS: Tallied an assist on Saturday, his first point in four games after recording seven points (2G, 5A) in his previous four contests ... Ranks fifth on the team with 18 assists and shares fifth on the club with 27 points in 40 games ... Ranks fourth on the Wolves with a +8 plus/minus rating

TOMMI SANTALA: Notched a goal against Cincinnati on Friday, his second marker in three games ... Registered eight goals, nine assists and 17 points in 29 games with Chicago this season

WOLF TRACKS

--The Wolves have been held scoreless on the power play in each of their last three games after notching at least one man-advantage marker in 11 of their previous 12 games, which includes each of their previous six.

--Overall, Chicago ranks seventh in the league on the power play at 16.5% (47 of 285).

--The Wolves have been held to two or fewer goals in each of the last three games after posting at least three markers in 15 of their previous 17 contests, which includes at least four markers in 10 of those games.

--Chicago's 158 goals this season are the third-most in the league; overall, the Wolves rank fifth in the AHL in scoring with an average of 2.93 goals per game.

DIVISION WITHIN THE RANKS

The Wolves will play 21 of their remaining 26 games against teams within the West Division; overall, the Wolves rank third in the division, three points behind second-place Milwaukee and 12 points ahead of fourth-place Cincinnati.

NOTABLE

The Wolves will host Chicago's Department of Animal Care and Control Adopt-a-Dog Program sponsored by PETsMART at the Allstate Arena on Sat., Feb. 21, when they face the Houston Aeros at 7 p.m. The game marks the fifth of at least seven visits this season. The Wolves have helped find homes for 44 dogs this season, including 15 dogs on Oct. 11. Overall, nearly 250 dogs have been adopted through the program spanning three seasons. The Wolves are aiming to find home for 300 dogs by the end of this year.
