ALTOONA, Pa - The Altoona Curve are allowing fans to voice their opinion as to who they feel the 2009 Altoona Curve Most Valuable Player should be by casting their vote online! Fans can vote for the 2009 Altoona Curve Most Valuable Player through Wednesday and all online ballots should be cast prior to the 12:00 p.m. deadline.
The 2009 Curve M.V.P. along with the Pitcher of the year and Unsung Hero will be announced prior to the Curve's 2009 home finale on Thursday evening when Altoona takes on the Akron Aeros (AA - Cleveland Indians) at 6:35 p.m.
Curve fans can choose from the following candidates by logging on to AltoonaCurve.com:
INF Pedro Alvarez (59 games, .330, 13 HR, 40 RBIs)
OF Jose Tabata (61 games, .303, 2 HR, 25 RBIs)
OF Jonel Pacheco (114 games, 14 HR, 52 RBIs)
INF Brian Friday (102 games, 7 HR, 42 RBIs)
INF/OF Jason Delaney (117 games, .268, 7 HR, 63 RBIs)
RHP Yoslan Herrera (23 games, 15 starts, 11 wins, 1 loss, 3.23 ERA)

Fan voting will be counted along with votes from media members who have covered the team on a frequent basis along with Altoona Curve players and coaches.
